Messiah Harris, Guard/Concierge

Messiah Harris recently joined our team as a guard/concierge, but he’s no stranger to Springmoor. Over the past five years, he has been a beloved face in our community.
As a teenager, Messiah began his journey in Dining Services on our waitstaff, became a grill worker, worked his way up to lead grill cook, and later served as an IT assistant. Now, he has transitioned to our Concierge Team, all while pursuing his education.
What Messiah loves most about working at Springmoor is forming deep bonds with residents, staff, and fellow employees. His charisma and genuine connection with everyone he meets make him an inspiring presence in our community.
During his time at Springmoor as IT assistant, his vibrant personality brought fresh ideas and energy to our Administrative Team. His natural ability to adapt and his dedication to going above and beyond make him a perfect fit for the guard/concierge role, which requires quick thinking, reliability, and a strong commitment to our residents.
Messiah graduated this winter from North Carolina A&T University with a degree in information technology, specializing in cybersecurity. He impressively completed this challenging degree in just 3.5 years while receiving scholarships and working to fund his education.
He has held cybersecurity positions with John Deere and the NC Administrative Office of the Courts. He also used his expertise to modernize and secure Springmoor’s network during his tenure as IT assistant.
While we would love for Messiah to remain a permanent part of the Springmoor family, his time with us is a steppingstone. In August 2025, he will begin a prestigious role with Capital One Bank, where he will join a competitive cohort program to hone his cybersecurity skills over the next two years. He aspires to eventually return to the Triangle area and establish his career here.
Messiah’s familiarity with Springmoor’s facilities has allowed him to quickly adapt to his security and concierge responsibilities. His previous work upgrading our network gave him a deep understanding of our infrastructure.
He is currently applying this knowledge to the management of our emergency response to critical systems: fire alarms, water mains, power mains, chiller pumps, and boilers. By combining his knowledge of cutting-edge technology with an understanding of our infrastructure, Messiah greatly benefits our community.
In his free time, Messiah enjoys spending quiet evenings with his girlfriend, Madison, watching movies, playing video games, or going to the cinema. He’s also learned to embrace adventure, joining Madison on exciting outings like skydiving and riding roller coasters at Carowinds and Universal Studios.
We’re thrilled Messiah has chosen to remain part of the Springmoor family during this transitional period in his career. We look forward to benefiting from his insights and stellar work ethic for as long as he is with us. Thank you, Messiah, for your outstanding contributions to Springmoor!
