All of these personalized requests make your house a home. With every new move-in, Springmoor will customize your home with your paint colors and flooring selections. If the apartment does not have the latest cabinetry, appliances, countertops and bathrooms, you choose these too. If there are additional updates to personalize your home, just ask! We are happy to help design your new home to fit all of your needs.
Under Construction
With some apartments, we have moved walls, added new windows or reconfigured closets. We have added can lights or designer chandeliers to many of our resident’s new homes.
Cabinetry
Custom-built cabinets provide a home for your television as well as your favorite books, artwork and accessories. The storage hidden behind the cabinet doors is always a must-have when downsizing. A splash of color inside the shelving units adds a personal touch to each resident’s apartment.
Kitchens
Most of our kitchens are galley-style. We have a few with islands designed especially for entertaining or for a eating a quick meal. The door style and cabinet colors are left up to the resident to choose when new kitchens are designed. Paint colors in the kitchen can be bright and bold, earth tones or varied shades of neutrals. We want you to choose what suits your style best.
Doors
We have added barn doors, pocket doors and French doors. Glass will add light and solid paneled doors provide privacy. Bifold doors may allow for another piece of treasured furniture. And a transom above a door can provide an added height dimension to the door opening.
Closets and Bathrooms
Storage space is always a must-have when downsizing from your long-time home to a retirement community. Closet configurations can be built by our carpenters or can be designed and purchased by one of the many closet suppliers in the area. Bathroom vanities and showers are all part of the items you may personalize in your new home.
Outdoor Space
Last but not least is your outdoor space. For many, a covered patio or a large deck can be the favorite room in the house. We invite you to add your favorite perennials, annuals and potted plants to the yard surrounding your new home. A birdbath, an umbrella on the outdoor table or a humming bird feeder will all complete your natural space.
We want to make the transition from a home you may have lived in for forty years to a new community an easy choice. Providing design options for each resident is our way of making your new house a home.
