What is Springmoor?
Springmoor is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that includes independent living residences for active seniors, plus the option to reside in the Supportive Living Center or the Stewart Health Center (licensed assisted living with skilled nursing services).
Springmoor is a not-for-profit community that offers a lifestyle rich in intellectual, cultural, educational, and spiritual opportunities. On and off-campus programs and events are provided for all residents.
Is Springmoor accredited?
Yes, Springmoor holds the national accreditation of the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission.

How big is the Springmoor campus?
Springmoor is located on a 42-acre campus with almost 400 independent living apartments and 19 distinctive floor plans to choose from. Our variety of options includes everything from alcove apartments, to multi-bedroom, single-family homes that feature a den and a one-car garage.
May I decorate my apartment?
Yes! Springmoor has a design center that becomes the first step for each new resident. Flooring, paint colors, cabinets, countertops, lighting and other personal touches can all be made when selecting your new residence.
Families are always invited to participate!
What amenities are offered?
The Pathways Wellness Center was built 2 years ago and offers an indoor heated saltwater lap pool, hot tub and sauna, a fully equipped exercise room, Bistro dining, a hospitality bar, a movie theatre and a spa. Our exercise center is not to be missed.
There are forty-five exercise classes offered each week, with fifteen of them in the water! We also have a putting green, individual gardening areas, a croquet court, and a grilling patio. A library, craft and hobby areas, public rooms for entertaining, a billiard room, and a long list of activities each month are offered around campus. A branch bank, hair salon, convenience store, private chapel, and pharmacy services are also part of the wonderful amenities included on our campus.

Will I be able to bring my car?
Yes! Springmoor encourages residents to bring their cars if they wish to do so. Parking is provided too. If you don’t have a car or prefer not to drive, no need to worry. Springmoor offers extensive transportation services for outings and trips, as well as for doctor’s appointments and errands.

Can I bring my pet?
Oh, we love dogs and cats! Your pets are always welcome at Springmoor, as long as they follow a few conduct restrictions. There are many pets here already, and the paved nature trails throughout the campus provide a wonderful place to walk your dog.
What insurance services are offered?
Springmoor is different than most other retirement communities in that we provide an insurance counselor for each resident to review our contract options and other insurance services. Counselors become the resident’s advocate in tracking claims, filing insurance documents, and assisting with all of your questions.

What does the meal plan include?
Each independent living resident is provided one meal per day, while residents in our Supportive Living Center and Stewart Health Center are offered three meals a day.
Planning to be out-of-town, or with friends and family at mealtime? Not a problem! Springmoor will carry over 30 meals each month for each resident. Casual dining in our Bistro or Grill is also a meal option. Families are always welcome and private dining rooms are offered for large parties.
What fees will I pay as a resident?
A one-time entry fee is charged in addition to the monthly service package. This entitles you to occupy a maintenance-free apartment, villa or home. Additionally, you will have access to any future long-term care, including on-campus assisted living and skilled nursing care.
What does my monthly service package include?
This is the question we hear most, and the one that helps make the decision to move to Springmoor! No more home repair, housecleaning, or yard work. Cooking and transportation are also off your list when you move to Springmoor. Also included in the monthly service package are all utilities (electric, gas, water, local telephone, and 60-channel cable). The list is long, and one you will certainly want to ask more about during your campus tour!
