Once you move here, we promise to see to your health needs and care throughout all stages of life. Whether you live in independent living, supportive living, or in our health center, Springmoor will always be your home. As a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), Springmoor allows you and your loved ones peace of mind, knowing your health needs will be taken care of.
Residence & Care Agreement
When you move into Springmoor, you sign a Residence & Care Agreement, which states that Springmoor will provide housing and health care services for the remainder of your life. These services include but are not limited to:
Utilities: We pay for electricity, water & sewage, heat, air-conditioning, phone and cable services, and more.
Meals: We make three meals available a day. Your monthly service fee covers the cost of one nutritionally well-balanced meal a day.
Furnishings: Springmoor provides new carpeting, flooring, draperies, and appliances for all homes. These furnishings are something residents get to choose and personalize to their style as they go through the move-in process.
Housekeeping: A member of our friendly housekeeping staff will clean your new apartment, villa, or house weekly.
Security:Each residence has automatic smoke detectors and fire alarm systems with an emergency call system. Personnel will also be on call to respond to any emergencies at all time.
Activities: Springmoor provides an eclectic selection of programs for residents to enjoy. This includes crafts, hobby opportunities, library facilities, and social activities. These are all designed to meet the physical, social, and psychological needs of residents.
Healthcare: Springmoor will provide and maintain a health center for medical and health care of all residents. This consists of a clinic, special care rooms, nursing services, and will be staffed and equipped to certification of the Department of Human Resources. Stewart Health Center cares for residents in:
- Emergency Calls: personnel will respond to our emergency call system from each residence or to telephone calls for emergency assistance
- Short-term stays in the health center
- Out patient care: Springmoor provides scheduled hours for services regarding minor illnesses, injuries, or periodic physical examinations.
- Long-Term stays in the health center: When independent living is no longer recommended for residents, they can become permanent residents of the health center to better meet their medical needs.
