As we close out 2025, I extend my deepest gratitude to all Springmoor residents for the warm welcome and partnership you’ve shown throughout my first full year as Executive Director. November marked that milestone for me, and it has been an honor to serve this community—a community with a remarkable 41-year history of excellence, compassion, and integrity.

Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of listening, learning, and growing alongside you. What I’ve seen affirms what makes Springmoor so special: a dedication to quality living, a commitment to one another, and a shared belief that even the strongest communities can evolve to become even better.

Some of those enhancement in 2025 include: adding our fully operational pharmacy with delivery services, establishing our first Assisted Living neighborhood in the Stewart Health Center, chef-led cooking demonstrations and pop-up events, two new fleet vehicles, a renovation to the South Village dining room, upgrading our network to provide wi-fi to all resident apartments, expanded home care service hours, and our first annual resident prom.

I’m genuinely excited about what the future holds for Springmoor. We are ready for improvement and meaningful progress, while upholding the values and practices that have shaped us into the community we are today.

In 2026, we anticipate refreshing our internal phone system, replacing several elevators, completing several more phases of our health center renovation, implementing wi-fi campus-wide, and replacing another vehicle to diversify our fleet.

One of the initiatives I’m most looking forward to in the new year is the launch of our monthly Town Halls beginning in January. Each department will host at least one Town Hall in 2026, and many will host two.

These gatherings will provide another opportunity for residents and management to connect, exchange ideas, and work collaboratively toward achievements that benefit us all. Residents’ voices, insights, and lived experiences are essential to guiding our path forward.

Below is the full schedule of Town Hall dates that includes the department responsible. Residents will receive monthly reminders, and I encourage everyone to join in and continue shaping the future of Springmoor with us.

Managers will offer updates, share information, and answer residents’ questions. The first 2026 Town Hall will be held on Monday, January 19, at 3:00 pm in the Auditorium. Business Office/Administration staff members in attendance will include Jessica Pagan, Dee Redmon, Donna McGee, Beth Holden, Bethany Yates, and Daniel Sekeras.

Thank you again for an incredible year! I am inspired daily by this community and energized by the possibilities ahead. Here’s to a bright, purposeful, and connected 2026.
