Springmoor stands as the realization of the vision of one man, Justus M. (Jud) Ammons, who pioneered a new, more comprehensive approach to retirement living in Raleigh. In 1984, Springmoor opened its doors as the first full-service retirement community here, setting a new standard for senior living in the region. Throughout our history, we’ve continuously evolved while maintaining our founding commitment to provide security, community, and comprehensive care within our welcoming neighborhood among the trees.
