Blue Jay Point County Park with the Wake County Master Gardeners
May 19, 2017 - 1:00 pm
Join us for our Senior Birding Outing at Blue Jay Point Park with the Wake County Master Gardeners.
Blue Jay Point County Park is a 236-acre park that was once primarily agricultural land. A majority of this acreage is now second-growth forestlands. Blue Jay Point is a peninsula, bordered on three sides by Raleigh’s primary drinking water supply, Falls Lake.
NC State Extension Master Gardener volunteers provide unbiased, research-based information on gardens, lawns and landscapes.
This will not only be a beautiful outing at the park but an educational adventure as well. Join us to see all the Raleigh and The Wake County Parks have to offer.
Reservations are limited. Please call by Wednesday, May 17 at 9am
